Cercola
Description
Cercola is a town located at the foot of the Vesuvius. Its name derives from the Latin quercea (oak), then changed into the dialectic word "cercula", probably referring to a secular oak.
To visit:
Villa Rota, Villa Miletto and Villa Buonanno;
The church of Madonna Immacolata, in neo-classic style, built in 1875 by the first major of the town;
The Church of Madonna del Carmine (XVII century).
